80th Independence Day Celebration
14th - 15th August 2026 | Primary
The Primary Section of St. Paul High School celebrated the 80th Independence Day with great patriotic spirit on 14th August 2026.
The children looked vibrant in traditional attire, while some dressed as freedom fighters and national leaders, adding colour and patriotic pride to the celebration.
A special programme was beautifully organised by the Grade 4 teachers. The programme was compered by Master Daksh Jana and Master Avdhut Kadam. Master Yuvraj Mote of 4th B led the gathering in prayer, while Master Divyansh Khair of 3rd C delivered an inspiring speech. The winners of the Patriotic Singing Competition, students of 2nd C and 4th B, presented their songs with lively actions.
Our Manager, Rev. Fr. Venancio, encouraged the students to be obedient and to respect their teachers and the nation. Principal Rev. Fr. Victor urged them to become good and responsible citizens of India. Head Teacher Ms. Joicy inspired the children to take a pledge to be honest and responsible citizens and appreciated the Grade 4 teachers for organising the programme so well.
The celebration continued with patriotic slogans led by Sir Henry. Students and teachers of Grades 3 and 4, along with our Principal, Rev. Fr. Victor, and Head Teacher, Ms. Joicy, enthusiastically participated in a colourful patriotic rally, carrying placards, waving the National Flag and proudly chanting patriotic slogans.
To mark the occasion, Fr. Victor and Ms. Joicy planted a sapling, followed by the teachers planting saplings along with their respective standards—a beautiful symbol of nurturing both young minds and our nation.
The day ended with joy, pride and love for our Motherland, leaving everyone with a renewed sense of patriotism.
