St.Paul High School

The Singing Competition was organised on 20thJuly 2026 in the school hall. Since it was conducted after many years, there was a lot of excitement among our students & they participated wholeheartedly in the elimination round held on the 1st of July 2026. The students selected in the elimination round, then started practising sedulously. The teachers in- charge too left no stone unturned to prepare the boys for the finals. On 20thJuly,the competition began with the Senior section ie. contestants from stds.8th to 10th . Two distinguished judges, Ms.Maria Goretti Fonseca & Sr. Macveena were invited to evaluate the performances by the contestants. The Juniors ie. participants of stds. 5th to 7th had their competition post recess.
Certificates were awarded to the winners by the judges. Championship trophies were awarded by our Principal Rev.Fr. Victor to the contestants who scored the highest points. In the Senior category, Sairaj Sardesai of 9A picked up the trophy while in the Junior section, Shreyaan Manjrekar of 6B won the trophy. Our boys played various instruments & provided music to the contestants as they sang their chosen numbers.
Principal Rev. Fr. Victor praised all the participants and encouraged them to pursue and hone their talent.
The competition brought the musical talents of our students to the fore & encouraged the other students to participate in such competitions in the future.
