Gandhi Saptaha

28th September to 1st October, 2026 | Primary

St. Paul High School observed Gandhi Saptaha through a meaningful series of daily assemblies from 28th September to 1st October 2026. Each day, the students of Standard IV presented an assembly highlighting one of Mahatma Gandhi’s timeless values.

Day 1 – Truthfulness | 28th September | Std. IV-A
The celebrations began with Standard IV-A focusing on the value of Truthfulness. The Word for the Day was “Truthful”, accompanied by the inspiring slogan, “Truth never damages a cause that is just.” The students highlighted the importance of honesty and integrity in our daily lives.

Day 2 – Non-Violence | 29th September | Std. IV-B
Standard IV-B presented the second assembly on Non-Violence, one of Gandhiji’s most important principles. The message, “Be the change that you wish to see in the world,” encouraged students to promote kindness, patience, understanding and peaceful solutions.

Day 3 – Peace | 30th September | Std. IV-C
The third assembly, conducted by Standard IV-C, focused on Peace. Through the powerful slogan, “An eye for an eye will only make the world blind,” students reflected on the importance of forgiveness, understanding and choosing peace over revenge.

Day 4 – Unity | 1st October | Std. IV-D
The concluding assembly was conducted by Standard IV-D and centred on Unity. The Head Boy delivered an inspiring speech on Mahatma Gandhi and the values he taught us. The assembly was graced by the presence of our Manager, Principal and Head Teacher, making the occasion especially meaningful.
The four-day celebration concluded with students reflecting on Gandhiji’s timeless teachings of truth, non-violence, peace and unity. The assemblies served as a reminder that these values are not merely lessons from history but principles that can guide us in our everyday lives.
