Teachers’ Day at St. Paul’s High School was celebrated with immense joy, gratitude and warmth on 4th September at the school ground. With the beautiful theme “Rooted in Family and Flourishing at School,” the celebration was a heartfelt tribute to the teachers who nurture, guide and inspire their students every day.
The celebrations began with a special Teacher’s March. The Head Boy, Assistant Head Boy, School Council members and students warmly welcomed all the teachers as they entered the school ground, setting a joyful tone for the day.
The programme began with a beautiful Aarti for the teachers, while Rev. Fr. Victor sang the sacred shlok, creating a peaceful and reverent atmosphere.
One of the most meaningful highlights was the “Tree of Gratitude.” Each teacher was invited to place a leaf bearing their name on the tree, symbolising how every teacher is an important part of the school family and how their contribution helps the school grow and flourish.
The students then presented a wonderful array of singing, dancing and other performances dedicated to their teachers. Pratam Hindlekar delivered a heartfelt speech expressing appreciation for the teachers and their valuable contribution. A lively band display added further excitement to the celebrations. The teachers thoroughly enjoyed the performances and were entertained by the enthusiasm and talent of the students.
To add a fun element to the celebration, Fr. Victor conducted spot-prize activities for the teachers, and Fr. Venancio presented the prizes to the winners. After the final dance performance, Fr. Victor delivered the vote of thanks, expressing his appreciation to everyone who contributed to making the celebration special.
The celebration became even more touching when the students came forward to greet and wish their teachers. Their smiles, warm wishes and gestures of love made the teachers feel truly appreciated.
✝️ Teachers’ Day Mass and Fellowship
Following the school programme, all the teachers attended a special Holy Mass offered for the teachers on the occasion of Teachers’ Day. After Mass, the teachers gathered in the hall for light refreshments.
Fr. Venancio and Fr. Victor then distributed gift envelopes to all the teachers from the different sections, adding another special touch to the celebration.
The celebrations continued with a fun-filled Dumb Charades game conducted by Ms. Joicy Lopes, which brought plenty of laughter and cheer among the teachers. Ms. Joicy expressed her gratitude to the Fathers for organising such a wonderful programme and particularly appreciated Fr. Victor’s efforts in making the Teachers’ Day truly memorable. She highlighted that the entire celebration had been thoughtfully planned by the Management, with no teachers involved in the planning, making the surprise even more special.
🍽️ A Special Lunch at ITC Grand Central
The celebrations continued beyond the school premises as all the teachers headed for a special lunch. A bus was arranged to transport the teachers to ITC Grand Central Hotel, where a delightful lunch awaited them.
The teachers enjoyed a wonderful spread of starters, main courses and desserts, with a wide variety of delicious dishes. They also had a wonderful time clicking pictures, sharing laughter and creating beautiful memories together. To make the day even more special, the teachers were treated to nail art and hairstyling, which added an extra touch of pampering and celebration.
The day was filled with laughter, appreciation, friendship and togetherness. Every teacher left with a smile, feeling loved, valued and grateful for such a thoughtful celebration.
The Teachers’ Day celebration was truly a memorable and heartwarming experience, and everyone expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Fr. Venancio, Fr. Victor and the Management for going the extra mile to make the day so extraordinary.
