15th August, 2026 | Secondary

The 80th Independence Day of India was celebrated with great patriotic spirit and enthusiasm at our school on 15th August 2026, under the inspiring theme “Freedom Through Unity, Progress Through Responsibility.”
The celebration commenced with the Guard of Honour, Flag Hoisting and National Anthem, led by Sir Prashant, Sports Master, and Sir Henry with the student contingent. It was indeed a matter of great pride and privilege to welcome our esteemed Chief Guest, our very own Rev. Fr. Venancio Mascarenhas, the newly appointed Manager of St. Paul High School, Dadar, and Parish Priest of St. Paul Church, Dadar. The Chief Guest was warmly welcomed and felicitated by Emmanuel Masih, Head Boy of Std. X B, trained by Ms. Kalpana.
The programme continued with an inspiring Address on the significance of Independence Day, reminding everyone of the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and our responsibility as citizens of the nation. The audience greatly appreciated the confident and expressive trilingual speech in English, Hindi and Marathi delivered by Divyansh Khair, trained by Ms. Selena. His presentation beautifully reflected the spirit of patriotism and unity.
The March Past and Mass Drill with Patriotic Songs, led by Sir Prashant with the assistance of our ex-student and Parade Instructor Siddharth Devkar, was a special highlight of the celebration.
The Pre-Primary students presented a beautiful prayer, while the students of Std. II C and Std. IV B presented melodious patriotic songs. The students of Std. VIII showcased an energetic and meaningful dance performance, adding colour and enthusiasm to the celebration.
The occasion also included the Prize and Certificate Distribution for the Badge Making and Wall Hanging Competitions, along with the felicitation of Primary and Pre-Primary Scholarship achievers and prize winners.
The programme was confidently compered by Jason Patankar of Std. IV C and Malhar Paradkar of Std. IV D, under the able guidance of Ms. Archana.
The successful celebration was made possible through the dedicated efforts of the Independence Day Coordinator, Ms. Selena, the committee members Ms. Kalpana, Sir Prashant, Ms. Snoviya, Ms. Crismita, Ms. Archana, Ms. Kamali, Ms. Linett, and Ms. Sujata, students, parents, and the entire support staff for their valuable teamwork and support.
The celebration concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, reminding everyone that freedom comes with responsibility and inspiring us to remain united and work towards a strong, peaceful, and progressive India.
Jai Hind! Jai Bharat!
